Use the signal lights. Keep track of traffic. Check the mirrors frequently. Look far down the road and keep your eyes moving to spot any problems before you reach them. Have a clear head while driving. Alcohol and other drugs can impair your driving skills. Have a good nights rest and dont drive for hours at a stretch without a break. If you are traveling on a highway dont risk your safety and others who are with you. Just try other modes of transport like taxi cab or public transportation. Before taking any medications just read the labels. If on the label certain instructions are written as this medicine can cause certain drowsiness then dont drive. Before taking these medications just consult the doctor that can I take any other medication so that it does not cause drowsiness.

Safety is always at the priority list before buying any vehicle. Air bags are mandatory in all the new cars. Look at even side impact bags in many new models as well. While buying a used car look it has air bag. Be a calm person while driving the car; dont be in a hurry to reach your destination. Lexus RX 400h Hybrid Overview

Did you know that the Lexus was massproduced by Toyota the Japanese Motor Company that makes Corollas and Highlanders? This hybrid was actually rolled out in January 2004 at the North American International Auto Show a few months after the Ford Escape Hybrid was introduced. The Escape was so well received that it was a nobrainer that the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid would be received just as well. It was an immediate hit and the Escape suddenly found itself a competitor. Plus Lexus is Toyota’s high end product so fans of the vehicle expected it to be elegant and appealing.

The 2008 model of the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid has a few updates namely chrome door handles a new front grill rear spoiler and shiny 18 inch wheels. This is the first time Toyota and Lexus ever designed and developed a vehicle that was geared for a particular financial class.

This SUV was designed and developed to go up against other SUVs such as the BMW X3 the Hummer H3 Acura RDX Land Rover LR3 Infiniti FX35/FX45 Mercury Mariner Volvo XC90 and the MercedesBenz MLClass. Texas Dealer Opens E85 Station

Last Friday those traveling in Texas who have vehicles that could run on E85 fuel had just a grand time. A refilling station of E85 fuel opened in Texas and this is the very first E85 station that is wholly owned by a dealership.

This dealership is the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer and this dealership has invested over 500000 to make sure that this biofuel refilling station goes to work. Of course it is important to note that this dealership has been one of the most successful dealerships in the nation and knows just how important it is to invest money right. According to statistics this dealership has been able to sell the highest number of trucks under the Chevrolet brand last year.

As per the new biofuel pump the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer pump known as the Classic Clean Fuels station would be able to fill up the fuel tanks of cars which can run on E85 biodiesel and E10. Biodiesel is made from vegetable oils or even from animal fats. E85 is a combination of 85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent conventional gasoline. E10 is a mixture of 10 per cent ethanol and the rest is made up of conventional gasoline.

Charles Martin is the general manager for the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer dealership and on the new refueling station he commented We sell a lot of trucks capable of running on alternative fuels like E85 and even though there has been some increased availability we saw a need for more E85 pumps where drivers could fill up. This was the right thing for us to do for our customers and it’s good for the Metroplex.

As part of the grand opening of the Classic Clean Fuels station car maker General Motors took part in the opening. The company had sponsored a promotion that lasted for two hours it started from 7 oclock in the morning and ended at 9 oclock. During this period consumers who would be purchasing E85 fuel from the pump would be given a discount. The regular price of E85 is 2.74 for each gallon. However during the promotion period of two hours each gallon could be bought for only 85.9 cents.

Larry Burns is GMs vice president for Research and Development and Strategic Planning. He stated Theres no telling where this might lead. We have to keep looking for ways to improve the overall ownership experience of our customers.

Of course this is the very first dealershipowned biofuel pump. But analysts are looking at more pumps like this. Soon there may be even dealerships selling automobiles with Lincoln Zephyr parts who would be opening pumps like this.
